Description

We produced this fundraising video for non-profit Boy Scouts of America.   They wanted a video which would remind current and potential donors of the Boy Scouts rich history of commitment to America’s youth.  With a nod to the past, the video needed to engage both the hearts and minds of the viewers to convince them of Boy Scouts relevance as a essential training ground for the leaders of tomorrow.

Working with the organization’s national office of philanthropy in Dallas, we identified some of the key challenges facing today’s youth.  With its emphasis on peer leadership opportunities and outdoor adventures, Boy Scouts of America programs are a welcome and much-needed antidote for these obstacles.  This problem and solution approach works well in videos for non-profit organizations needing to define their cause and effect.

This fundraising video has been used in multiple applications, from large-scale gatherings and fundraising events to individual “asks” with high net worth donors and corporations.  It is used in capital fundraising campaigns for “The Summit Bechtel Reserve”, Boy Scouts new flagship high adventure base in West Virginia.

The project was successful in supporting the fundraising team and we were subsequently brought on board to produce a series of other fundraising videos to support their efforts.

I highly recommend the Bayside team for all of your storytelling needs. You will be in great hands through the entire process.
